Foreign citizens can buy land in Mexico. If the property is not in the restricted zone (within 50 kilometres from the coast or 100 kilometers from the border), then the property can be notarized directly abroad. If the ground is within a restricted zone, then abroad may be owner of the property through a “Trust” or through a mexican association .
